Hoxton Hall is one of East London's more unique and atmospheric performance venues. High ceilings, charming ambience, and robust acoustics—together with full preparation dressing rooms and a smooth onstage area—combine for a spectacular spark of technique and exhibition proven to awe audiences of all ages.
From upbeat university dance extravaganzas to variety shows like the Insect Circus, new musicals such as the esteemed Frank's Closet, the odd fashion show and even new-fangled productions of classics like Hamlet, we've done them all. Our Theatre is a flexible performance space and we have the right attitude and facilities to showcase your next brilliant performance.
Music gigs
One of the feats we accomplish best is showcasing a grand variety of musical acts. We have traditional favourites like, newer incarnations like Shuffle, and a range of musical shows: from performers like Wild Beasts sponsored by Live Nation to those historically-inspired local youth gigs such as Music Hall Blues.
Our Music Hall Theatre has a range of equipment ready for use, such as CD players and an upright piano, but you are also welcome to bring your own. We offer suggestions on integrating equipment with your performance in order to tune your gig to the right sound and resonance. Whether you want to put on rock, jazz, pop, soul, or any uncanny combination of genres, we are on hand to help musicians generate buzz and marvel amidst any variety of audiences!
