HAYLEY MILLER

Haley is an HR Professional working with and supporting senior teams as they work through Organisational/Structural Change and Business Transformation. She is also involved in work surrounding Coaching, Team and Leadership development. Outside of work, Hayley is a creative and visual person who has always been attracted to the Arts. With a great passion for dance and the theatre in various formats, she is as well keen on supporting, nurturing and developing young talents. After many years in living and working in the East End, Hayley joined the team at Hoxton Hall with great enthusiasm, proudly sharing her support for “a great piece of our London heritage”.

CHRISTOPHER MURRAY (Chair)

Christopher is an experienced professional with excellent organisational skills, who is energetic, driven and highly motivated. His passion is early intervention and prevention for children, young people and families. He believes in collaborative working and have established close working relationships with voluntary and community groups and external partners such as the Local Authority, local MP’s, Colleges, training providers and employers to further support the Early Intervention and Prevention agenda. Christopher believes that one positive intervention for a child or young person can change their direction of travel for the better, with better life chances and outcomes for communities like Hoxton Hall.

TIM VAUGHAN

Tim had a substantial career as a chartered accountant for financial services in London, working in Canary Wharf from 2010. He is now focusing on the non-profit sector, and acts as trustee for a range of charities based in East London. In late 2017 he made contact with Hoxton Hall through the East London Business Alliance, having worked with the latter in several schools’ projects. He initially joined the board as director of Hoxton Works and was appointed as a Hoxton Hall’s Trustee a year later.

ALISTAIR ELDER 

Alistair is a management consultant who specialises in strategy and client engagement. He began his career as a UK diplomat serving in a number of roles over 16 years. He then joined the private sector working and living in a range of countries before returning to the UK in 2016. Alistair holds several Board/Advisory positions in the education and charity sectors as well as being an International Trade Ambassador for the Institute of Directors.

IAN HUNT (Director of Hoxton Workspaces) 

Ian is a qualified accountant with many years of experience across a range of industries including finance and theatre. Ian was recently Finance Manager for The Broadway Theatre and General Manager for The Broadway Trading and he’s now semi-retired. Ian joined Hoxton Hall’s trustees board in 2018 aiming to blend his high accountancy skills with his passion for theatre and live performances.

HORACE McDONALD

Horace is a Commercial Director with multi-industry experience in delivering excellence from multi-nationals through to medium sized businesses. He has extensive experience of helping teams achieve their business and personal development goals, through mentoring and coaching. The bulk of his time has been spent working in the music industry and he is closely involved in the career of his daughter who is signed to a major record label.

CLIVE MacTAVISH 
Clive has enjoyed a career as a senior finance leader and CFO in a number of companies including the FT, Dow Jones, Hotels.com and, most recently, CDC Group plc – the UK Government’s Development Finance Company – where he was CFO and a member of the Board. His passion, however, has always been the performing arts and as well as enjoying watching performances he is also a regular amateur performer, both as a singer in a band and as a member of a number of am dram societies. Through the latter experiences he also developed a huge enthusiasm for supporting young people in this area and, as such, he jumped at the chance to join the Board at Hoxton Hall and to offer his services into such a wonderful organisation.
RACHEL BARRETT
Rachel is a barrister specializing in employment law with a keen interest in mental health, she has previously lived in Mile End and now calls Greenwich home.
ABASS DODOO
Abass, a master drummer with extensive experience working with young people through his charitable trust, has also made significant contributions internationally as a musician. He currently resides in Hackney and has been actively involved in our youth arts programme.
KATHRYN STEPHENS
Kathryn, an arts manager, is currently working at Studio Wayne MacGregor in the Olympic Park. Her previous experience includes working at the Chelsea Theatre and various other arts organisations, she currently resides in Hackney.
DAVID SULKIN
David OBE is the Director of Artist Development at the National Opera Studio. He has a long association with Hoxton Hall, having been a team member of the Hoxton Community Theatre and Education project in the 1970s. David has also held several other prominent appointments in the arts, including roles at the National Foundation for Youth Music, Help Musicians UK and English National Opera. He currently resides in Kings Cross.
DALE HOSKINS
With over 10 years of experience in property and asset management, Dale Hoskins is a driven professional focused on maximizing asset value. He has managed a diverse portfolio including offices, retail, residential, and warehouses. Skilled in financial forecasting, contract management, and landlord-tenant relations, Dale has a proven track record of success. As Chair of the Race, Equality and Celebrating Heritage (REACH) committee at British Land, he works with community partners in London to support sponsorship, visibility, and awareness through place-based initiatives. His expertise in supervision, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder interests allows Dale to maintain and drive asset value. His associate membership in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors highlights his dedication to excellence in property and asset management.
KELLI O’BRIEN
Kelli is an Australian born and qualified lawyer who has lived and worked in the UK for the past 25 years, working in the City, Canary Wharf and, these days, her desk in Kent, for global financial institutions and international law firms. She has a long-standing interest in social justice, and recently graduated with a Masters in Grant Making, Philanthropy and Social Investment at Cass (now Bayes) Business School. Kelli is interested in helping charities realise their potential for value creation[, and communicating that more clearly with donors, by developing sustainable and resilient fundraising strategies]. She is also hugely supportive of anyone brave enough to go on stage, having been brave enough a very, very long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…
