Dylan’s been on work experience with us. Here’s the goss.
My name is Dylan, I come from William Ellis School and I’m in Year 10. I applied to Hoxton Hall for my work experience and I am so happy I did. Originally I was going to work at Marks and Spencer with my best mate, but at the last minute I decided to be more true to my future ambitions so I applied to a theatre. Hoxton Hall. I expected to be helping out with backstage and making cups of tea for my other colleagues, but instead I was being made cups of tea by my colleagues and I was being treated like an actual member of staff. I attended staff meetings, I created leaflets for Hoxton Hall; I even helped out at reception, picking up phone calls and sending off emails. In the afternoon I supervised and got involved in all the wonderful creative activities Hoxton Hall offers, for example recording songs in the recording studio and creating hats in the art room. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working at Hoxton Hall and the 12pm start is the cherry on the top of the cake.
