Caroline Polachek has already lived an extraordinary life in music: from founding her own band Chairlift while still in school in Brooklyn, to writing and producing an album for Beyonce in 2013 and starting her solo career after Chairlift disbanded.
Caroline’s idiosyncratic vocal style and synth textures are her sonic trademark, and continues to evolve into a new kind of pop experimentation which merges the theatricality of Ramona Lisa, futuristic glimmerings of CEP, plus a thick rolodex of keen collaborators.
Her new album ‘Pang’ marks the beginning of a new, ambitious chapter in Caroline’s career and positions her firmly as one of the most singular and captivating singers of a generation, making her intimate London’s headline show at Hoxton Hall an event not to be missed.
