Drama and Scriptwriting
What would EastEnders look like if it were set in Hoxton?
Come and work with theatre and TV writer and director Lil Warren, to create scenes through scriptwriting and improvisation exploring daily life through new eyes.
2nd – 5th August: 10:30-3:30
Dance take over!
UMD International is here to get you moving with high energy street dance, afro beat and much more!
9th August – 12th August: 10:30-3:30
How can art express our point of view? What message can we put out into the world? How can we use art to help create positive change on issues we care about? Come and meet our art tutor who will inspire you to shout loud through making art.
16th– 19th August: 10:30-3:30
Are you the class clown? Work with an experienced comedy performer, learning new skills in devising entertaining comedy sketches. Perfect for any aspiring comedians or just people that enjoy being creative and having a laugh.

Short filmmaking for social media
Tired of what you see on social media? Want to create a positive change? Learn to make inspiring content for social media, working in partnership with Mouth That Roars, who will teach techniques in filming, sound and directing to make your ideas pop!
This workshop is funded by Discover Young Hackney
Our art tutor Kirsty Reynolds facilitated our 11-16 year olds to explore Artivism.
Young people got creative and practised sharing their opinions on the state of the world today, through posters, printing and collage, which is shown in the attached mini film.
At the end of the week, the project culminated with sharing of a protest through art performance.
