Week one: Hoxton Hall X National Centre for Circus Arts

7-10 years

Interested in circus and performance? We have a 4-day workshop that will teach you circus skills with an element of drama too, you will have the opportunity to take part in workshops at the National Centre for Circus Arts, ending with a performance at Hoxton Hall.

11-16 years

Will also have a 4-day workshop that will teach you circus skills with an element of drama too, you will have the opportunity to take part in workshops at the National Centre for Circus Arts, ending with a performance at Hoxton Hall.

Week two: Music/Music Production/Studio Recording

7-12 years

Want to learn an instrument, be a part of a singing ensemble or simply have some fun with friends, this is the week for you. We will be working with music from around the world sharing back what you have learnt. All levels welcome.

13- 19 years

Will have an introduction to music production, the opportunity to write, record and perform your own track with our highly experienced music producers.

Week three: Carnival Fun

7-10 years 

Will take part in carnival costume making, dance and performance. This 4-day workshop will have you covered in glitter and dancing all day, in collaboration with Hackney Carnival and the opportunity to perform at Hoxton Halls summer street party on Saturday 12th August.

11-19 years

Week four: Working with Nature through Arts & Crafts

7-10 years

This week will be focused on art and nature. We will be working with arts and crafts and the natural materials around us, spending time in Hoxton Gardens gathering inspiration on how you would like the world to look.

11-19 years

Will also be taking part in a week of art and nature. We will be working with arts and crafts and the natural materials around us, spending time in Hoxton Gardens gathering inspiration on how you would like the world to look.

Week five: VoiceBox – Drama Fun/Tender & Drama

7-10 years

Hoxton Hall will be partnering with Voice box, a theater company that creates work focusing on challenging stereo types and creating healthy friendships. This week is led by highly skilled workshop leaders who always bring lots of fun to any workshop. Expect drama games, fun role plays and a great performance at the end.

11-16 years.

Hoxton Hall will also be partnering with Tender Education & Arts on a 4-day workshop discussing healthy relationships. The workshops will also raise awareness of unhealthy relationships and what young people can do if they find themselves in this situation. The workshops will work with drama and the creative arts giving our young people important life skills, lots of fun and new drama skills too.
